Rossana Brambilla
Rossana Brambilla was born in 1974. Over the years she has developed a great artistic versatility, favouring such materials as oil paints, pencils and acrylics. She has studied artists of various epochs in-depth, among them Raphael, Munch, Hopper, Burton, Ryden and Sorren.
Her inquiry has led her to tackle new technologies, remaining nevertheless rooted in painterly tradition. Rossana’s works display a constant evolution along two main paths: together with naïf subjects approached with expressive freedom and radiant childlike imagery, there are works of darker and more disquieting tones in the wake of gothic artists like Mark Raiden, whose lesson is reread in an extremely personal key.
